Primitive Art Class

I teach two classes. One every Tuesday from 9:20 to 11:00 in the Oyachi community center in Handa City, Aichi. The other at the Cultural Center (Bunka-kai-kan) in Tokoname every second Friday of the month.

A Look at the Human Figure through the eyes of the people of the Neolithic and Bronze Age.
In dealing with the human form, past cultures created their own vocabulary.
With terra cotta models I have made and photos of these ancient sculptures,
we will learn how to see the human form,
not as a image of the eye
but as a image of the imagination.

If you are interested please come and visit our class.
